Murabbi Consulting and SMB Employment Department host Ethical Leadership Summit

Leading training and consultancy firm Murabbi Consulting, dedicated to ethical leadership and value-driven HR, hosted the Ethical Leadership Summit yesterday, in conjunction with SMB’s Employment team.

Held at SMB’s offices, the event’s aim to discuss ethical dilemmas in business, politics and society was supported by a range of experts in the fields of employment, leadership, HR, development and management. Delegates were invited to participate in panel discussions and workshops, and hear talks by keynote speakers including Laurence Cockfroft (Transparency International), Keith Grint (Warwick Business School), Charlotte Sewell (COOK), Ruth Steinholtz (AreteWork LLP) and H.E. Ebrahim Rasool (former South African Ambassador to the USA).

The event was presented and concluded by Founding Director and Managing Partner of Murabbi, Nabeel Al-Azami, and SMB’s Partner and Head of Employment, Makbool JavaidTamara Ludlow, Employment Partner was on the panel for the morning discussion ‘Fundamental Ethical Questions’, how organisations address potential conflicts and inconsistencies between commercial considerations and ethical behaviours.
