Krista is an Associate in the firm’s Employment team, advising both individual and corporate clients on a wide range of employment-related issues.
She helps clients to defend and bring unfair dismissal, discrimination, and whistleblowing-related claims in the Employment Tribunal. She also has experience in high-value employment disputes in the High Court. She assists clients with their employment contracts and settlement agreements and advises employers on compliance with data protection laws. She also works closely with the firm’s corporate and commercial department on the employment related aspects of transactional work including high-value mergers and acquisitions.
Clients dealing with sensitive employment matters and reputation management issues benefit from Krista’s extensive experience in international broadcast media. She brings to the firm more than a decade of experience working for both Canadian and American broadcasters as a correspondent and TV presenter. She was the host of a prime-time programme on politics and was nominated for a Gemini Award, the Canadian equivalent of a BAFTA, for her work with Canada’s public broadcaster.
