Wasif is a Consultant within both the Dispute Resolution team and the Media: Content and Disputes team. He assists companies and financial institutions with regulatory compliance and reviews. His litigation practice is focused around company and commercial disputes.
As a litigator, Wasif assists investors, sports and media celebrities and high net-worth individuals. His focus is on claims for contractual and company disputes on a national and global scale. Wasif advises a range of clients, from small and medium enterprises to household names such as Laura Ashley.
Wasif is recognised as a person that does not sit on the fence but gives a clear opinion to either settle, resolve or fight as the case may be.
On the regulatory front, Wasif has worked with banks and financial institutions including FINTECH’s assisting on compliance with the FCA handbook and FSMA related actions. Wasif has advised hedge funds as well as innovative companies seeking to make use of the regulatory Sandbox and distributed ledger (“blockchain”) technology.
